Delete your Plops account
Last updated: September 25, 2026
You can delete your Plops account yourself, at any time, from inside the game. It works the same on plops.io and in the Plops apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. Deleting takes effect immediately and can't be undone.
Delete it in the game
- Open Plops and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings and choose the Account tab.
- Under Danger zone, tap Delete account.
- Read what will happen, type DELETE — plus your password, if your account has one — and tap Delete my account.
Every device signed in to the account is signed out straight away. Guest accounts are deleted the same way. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What is removed
- Your display name, your username or email address, and your password.
- Sign-ins linked through Apple, Google or Facebook, and every signed-in session.
- Settings saved to your account, your country flag, your rivals list, your list of blocked players and your guild membership. If you lead a guild, it passes to its longest-standing member, or closes if nobody else is in it.
- Your place in the rankings, guild rosters, other players' rivals lists, the online list and the public battle feed.
- Unpublished Skin Creator and Map Maker drafts.
- Access to your progress. Nobody can sign in to the account again, so heroes, cards, decks, trophies and credits can't be recovered. Purchases made on plops.io (Stripe) stay with the deleted account and can't be moved. Purchases made through the App Store belong to your Apple ID, so Restore Purchases in the iOS app can unlock them again on a new Plops account.
What stays, without your name
- Purchase records — what was bought, when, for how much, and the payment reference — because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, for as long as that law requires. They stay attached only to an anonymous account number with no name, email or sign-in on it.
- Anonymous game records. The card collection, decks and statistics stay on that same anonymous record, which nobody can sign in to.
- Other players' match history. Games you played stay in your opponents' own history, shown only as “Deleted player”.
- Published creations. Themes and maps you published stay available to the players who unlocked or play them. They don't carry your name.
- Short-lived logs. Server logs and crash reports are kept briefly for security and deleted on their usual schedule (crash reports within 30 days); they are no longer linked to the account.
Can't sign in any more?
If you can't reach the account — a lost phone, a guest account on a device you no longer have, or a forgotten password with no email on file — email [email protected] from the email address the account used, or tell us its display name and roughly when you last played. We'll confirm it's yours and delete it within 30 days.
